HTC Touch: Feel the Touch

Finger based user interface mobile phones appears to be in much demand these days. The latest model in this line is the HTC Touch also known as P3450 or Elf that boast an innovative touch screen and a sleek interface. Among various touch phones that are available today, HTC has taken a different approach and has built the HTC Touch based upon Windows Mobile 6 platform and has added several finger friendly controls. Ultimately the result is a stylus equipped Pocket PC, where fingers can be used for most of the tasks. The size of the HTC Touch is 100mm X 60mm X 15mm and 116 grams in weight.

The HTC Touch is the most comfortable hand held Pocket PC device, with its compact design. However, the stylus that is 77mm long is too short to be comfortably used for a comprehensive period of time. The driving force behind the unique HTC Touch is its 2.8 inches, 65k color touch screen finger friendly display. The display of HTC Touch is extended beyond the limit of its 240 X 320 pixel resolution that makes it easy to hit on screen controls. Beyond the large touch screen, the HTC Touch offers 2 mega pixel camera, microSD slot, USB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G network.
